April 4-7, 2024 Anchorage, Alaska
Invited students will gain a basic understanding of electricity in a fun, interesting, and safe Introduction to Solar training event. T3 Alaska Energy Club in conjunction with REAP, ACEP’s Solar Program, and UAF Bristol Bay Campus is hosting a Solar Level I class in Anchorage. Students will explore how batteries work, create a solar project, and earn an Energy Badge.
Trip Objectives:● Deepen understanding of electrical energy and photovoltaic systems● Learn how to safely set up a basic solar nanogrid● Explore solar applications and career educational opportunities
